Carla Sacks, Co-founder and Head of Brand Development, GLW. Carla Sacks was exposed to art and design from the very beginning. Creativity, art, and design have been central to Carla Sacks’ life and career, from early childhood trips to the Art Institute of Chicago where she and her father both went to school. Her love of fine art and fashion, driven by her visual aesthetic has served her well for an esteemed career as a producer. Ms. Sacks moved to New York to Executive Produce for HBO, NBC-Universal, Showtime and several prestigious design firms.She became well known in her industry for edgy campaigns, curating talent and winning industry awards for innovative work on the US Open, Mr.Robot, Coca-Cola campaigns and many more shows and brands. GLW is the ultimate vision of her artistic endeavors. Jewelry and luxury goods are her chosen medium to express the visual aesthetic she’s refined throughout her life. Ms. Sacks travels the world in search of inspiration that fuels a unique perspective for jewelry and accessories:souks and desert camps in Morocco; elaborate palaces, the sea, and nature in Italy; cracked tiles and architecture in Istanbul; the Gaudi buildings and bull-fighting rings of Spain; and the Fondation Louis Vuitton and Place Vendome in Paris. As a co-founder of GLW, worlds collide as she combines her business acumen, passion for gemstones, creativity and great taste to build the high jewelry brand, accessories and develop the company’s luxury verticals.

In her work history, Ms.Sacks has had a lot of experience of managing teams and managing budgets. She has a proven track record of success in creative businesses and brings that mix of great taste and strong business skills to GLW. 

They both will oversee all aspects of the business, including product development and execution, marketing, brand development, and daily operations, with plans to hire skilled artisans, marketing specialists, sales representatives and staff as needed for growth and expansion of GLW.
